Zhang Jianhua is new head of energy body NEA

Former PetroChina executive Zhang Jianhua was appointed head of the National Energy Administration and a member of the Party Committee at the National Development and Reform Commission. Prior, Zhang served as general manager, board director, and deputy head of the Party Committee at major oil and gas producer China National Petroleum Corp. Zhang also held an additional post of president, vice-chairman and executive board director of PetroChina Co Ltd, a subsidiary of CNPC.
