China Telecom elevates Ke Ruiwen to CEO of arm

China Telecom Corp Ltd, a subsidiary of State-owned China Telecommunications Corp, which is better known as China Telecom, appointed Ke Ruiwen (pictured) as its president and CEO, effective on Oct 25. Ke no longer serves as the company's executive vice-president. Ke also concurrently serves the parent China Telecom as board director and general manager. Prior, Ke was deputy head of Jiangxi Provincial Postal Administration, general manager for marketing at both China Telecom Corp Ltd and parent China Telecom, holding the additional post of director for human resources of the two companies.
