Changan CS35 Plus

Changan Automobile Co launched the CS35 Plus at the end of October in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

The company offers eights variants of the CS35 Plus at suggested prices ranging from 69,900 yuan to 104,900 yuan ($10,049 to $15,081).

With a 1.6-liter engine, the SUV has a maximum output of 94 kilowatts and a top torque of 161 Newton meters.

The car is 4,335-millimeters long with the wheelbase stretched to 2,600 mm. The CS35 Plus is the first model produced with the cooperation of China's internet giant Tencent, and is equipped with the company's intelligent vehicle-connected AI in-car system.

It enables the driver and passengers to use many resources of Tencent, including QQ Music and Ximalaya FM.

All-new Focus

Changan Ford launched the all-new Focus sedan on Thursday, targeted primarily at young urbanites.

The model, with 12 variants, is priced from 108,800 yuan to 150,800 yuan ($15,642 to $21,680).

It has three powertrain options: the EcoBoost 180 engine has a maximum output of 135 kilowatts and a top torque of 243 Newton meters, while the maximum output of the EcoBoost 125 engine is 94 kW with a top torque of 170 Nm. The 1.5-liter Ti-VCT engine has slashed its weight to improve fuel economy.

The model has a segment-leading wheelbase of 2,705 millimeters, offering a roomier interior.

It is also the first Ford model in China to feature its Co-Pilot 360 driving assistance system. Focus is one of the most popular sedans in China, with 2.6 million units sold so far.
