Magnitude-5.1 quake hits city
A magnitude-5.1 earthquake hit Xichang, Sichuan province, at 4:29 pm Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. The epicenter, at a depth of 19 kilometers, was monitored at 27.7 degrees north latitude and 102.08 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
