Clariant hires Wang Fucai to lead local unit

Global chemicals company Clariant AG named Wang Fucai (pictured) as president of its China arm, effective Dec 1. Prior, Wang served as president of Arkema Inc's Asia-Pacific operations of fluoride-related businesses. Christian Kohlpaintner, member of Clariant's executive committee, said he believes a stronger local leadership team will help the company exploit more opportunities for further business growth. Wang said he looks forward to accelerating the company's growth in China, and further contributing to a more sustainable development of the country's chemical industry.
