Tourism expo set for city

The 2018 China Tourism Industries Exposition will be held in Tianjin from Nov 9 to 11, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said. The expo, hosted by the ministry and the Tianjin municipal government, is expected to attract more than 700 companies and nearly 300,000 visitors, said Liu Guiming, an official of the Tianjin tourism bureau. The expo consists of seven themed sections showcasing tourism products in different categories - notably those involving countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, Liu said.
