Prosecutors say bribery tainted 2013 election in Liaoning province

Three former provincial-level officials are being prosecuted on corruption charges ranging from bribery to sabotaging elections, according to the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Tuesday.

Liu Qiang, former vice-governor of Liaoning province, has been charged with accepting bribes and damaging an election by Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate No 3 Branch.
