Distant object found in hunt for Planet X

The International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center has identified a new extremely distant object far beyond Pluto in an orbit that supports the presence of an even-farther-out super-Earth or the larger Planet X. The object is about 80 astronomical units from the sun, a measurement defined as the distance between Earth and the sun. To put that in context, Pluto is about 34 astronomical units from the sun.
