Green alliance set up to protect Changbai Mountain

China Enterprise News Group Sports Management (Beijing) Co Ltd and the government of Northeast China's Jilin province have joined efforts to launch an ecological alliance and a public welfare foundation, in a bid to protect the environment of Changbai Mountain in the province.

The link-up aims to combine the efforts of firms involved with protecting Changbai Mountain's environment, create a more unified ecological economy, and discover a new way of green development.

Li Yiyang, deputy director of the Jilin Changbai Mountain Protection Development Management Committee, said the ecological alliance and the public welfare foundation will carry forward the culture of Changbai Mountain, actively promote the development of eco-tourism in the local area, promote the innovation of ecological civilization, and bring the ecological industry to the world stage.
