Adviser calls for improved proposals

The quality of proposals from China's top political advisory body should be further improved and they should be better handled, said Zhang Qingli, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He called for the country's political advisers and proposal-handling departments to strive together to promote high-quality proposal work in the new era at a three-day symposium that started in Beijing on Wednesday. "We will strengthen the coordination among different departments and steadily improve the quality and effectiveness of our proposals," he said.
