Dairy set to raise standards, enhance safety

Feihe Dairy, the domestic leader in infant and toddler formula production, has set up its own fresh dairy formula system to raise industry standards and enhance safety for consumers in the country.

Cai Fangliang, president of Feihe Dairy, said at a news conference on Sept 17 in Beijing that Feihe's strengths in operating its whole production chain have guaranteed 100 percent freshness of raw milk, a priority for manufacturing quality milk powder.

"Freshness is the top priority," said Cai. "A good formula milk powder should be made from the freshest milk."
