Venezuelan leader starts China visit

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has kicked off a four-day state visit to China on Thursday at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. During the visit, Xi will hold talks with Maduro, and the two leaders will attend a signing ceremony of bilateral cooperation documents, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Geng Shuang said at a regular news conference. Premier Li Keqiang and top legislator Li Zhanshu will also meet with Maduro, Geng said.
