September sees a range of climatic conditions

April may be termed the cruelest month, but September seems the most contradictory. A study in contrast is discernable as the climate blows both hot and cold across the country. People in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, are trying to keep their cool amid temperatures of 32 C but the snow-shrouded Huzhong district of the Greater Hinggan Mountains region in Heilongjiang province is experiencing -4.1 C temperatures. This is relatively balmy weather as the mercury has plummeted to -53.2 C. For all too obvious reasons, it is also known as "the coolest town in China".
