Foreign minister to visit Pakistan

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Pakistan from Friday to Sunday at the invitation of Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying announced on Thursday. The visit marks the first high-level exchange since the establishment of Pakistan's new government, she said, adding that China expects the trip to carry forward the traditional friendship, promote mutually beneficial cooperation and push the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership to new heights.
