Charities must disclose info

Since Saturday, charity organizations have been obliged to provide factual information to the public, according to a regulation issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The information disclosed includes major changes in assets, transactions and investments, public funding and other charity projects. Charities that fail to disclose information in a timely manner or release false information can be reported to civil affairs authorities by organizations or individuals, the regulation said.
