Rules released for tutoring sessions
The State Council released a guideline on Wednesday to regulate after-school training institutions for primary and secondary students to reduce students' academic burden. The guideline requires after-school training institutions to submit their curricula, enrollment targets and class hours to local education authorities for approval. They cannot charge fees for more than three months at a time. Local education authorities should establish a blacklist of unsafe or poorly operated after-school training institutions, as well as a list of problem-free training agencies, it said.
