Girl hurt by rock thrown at car

Around China

Police have launched an investigation after a 4-year-old girl was injured by a rock thrown by a tollbooth attendant after her parents tried to evade paying a toll on a road in Shijiazhuang on Aug 11. The attendant rushed out of his booth after the parents' car drove through the toll barrier without paying. He picked up a rock and threw it at the car as it drove away, shattering the back window and hitting the girl in the head. The girl was treated for a bleeding wound to her head at the scene.
