Positive reaction to first joint patrol

ZAGREB - Six Chinese police officers were scheduled to leave Croatia on Wednesday after patrolling with their counterparts in the country for a month during the tourist season.

It was the first such cooperation between the two countries and both sides said they were more than happy with the results.

The project was launched on July 15 and involved four policemen and two policewomen - along with their Croatian colleagues - patrolling popular tourist spots of Dubrovnik, Zagreb and Plitvice Lakes National Park.
