Flood relief funds allocated to regions

The central government has allocated 250 million yuan ($36.6 million) to help flood relief work in Sichuan province and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Of the total, 200 million yuan was allocated to Sichuan, which received 100 million yuan in aid last month, the Ministry of Emergency Management said. The other 50 million yuan went to Inner Mongolia and will be used to relocate people affected by floods, to reconstruct collapsed houses and to provide financial aid for flood victims.
