No casualties reported in quake
No casualties were reported after a magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit an uninhabited area in Qinghai province on Friday. The quake jolted Zhidoi county at 9:34 am, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. At a depth of 10 kilometers, the epicenter was located at a lake in the Hoh Xil Natural Reserve. The center said there were no villages within a 20-km radius of the epicenter.
