Cigna & CMB donates to kids heart charity

Cigna & CMB Life Insurance Co Ltd, a joint venture insurance company, donated 500,000 yuan ($73,000) to the Ai You Foundation on July 11.

The donation will support the foundation's Ai You Young Heart project, which was launched in 2006 to help children with congenital heart defects receive medical examinations and treatment. The company and its employees raised the money through a public welfare hiking tour.

Both sides said that further efforts will be made in the future to conduct various forms of multifaceted cooperation in areas covering medical research and public education.
