China's human rights progress is crystal clear

Editor's note: A seminar on reform and opening-up and China's human rights progress was jointly held by the China Society for Human Rights Studies and the publicity department of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China in Wuhan, Hubei province, last week. Progress made in human rights

As the largest developing and socialist country, China has blazed a trail in the development of human rights with Chinese characteristics. The right to development is the top priority for China when it comes to the human rights cause, because its fulfillment makes possible a higher level of development in human rights.
