Foreign minister to talk cooperation

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Malaysia and Singapore and attend foreign ministers' meetings on East Asian cooperation next week. Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told a news briefing on Friday that both Malaysia and Singapore are important members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, as well as China's friendly neighbors and important partners. The foreign ministers' meetings comprise one between China and the ASEAN; one between the ASEAN, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea; one of the East Asia Summit and one of the ASEAN Regional Forum.
