Cop's keen nose catches drug dealer

A off-duty female police officer, surnamed Yu, helped detain a suspected drug trafficker after she smelled a distinctive fragrance when he bumped into her in a shopping center in Wuhan on July 9. Yu, a narcotics officer, followed the man and phoned her station for help. The man, in his 40s, was detained 10 minutes later. Police found more than 400 magu pills, a drug made from methamphetamine and caffeine, and wads of cash when they searched him.
