Surgeon recalls days at the operating theater

A 96-year-old former liver surgery scientist and surgeon, Wu Mengchao, treated nearly 16,000 patients in 75 years. Recalling one particular time with the scalpel he said: "There was a patient, and his liver tumor was as big as a ball. No surgeon dared to operate, but I did, successfully. I am a surgeon, and my duty and responsibility is to provide health and care to all patients."
