Upon completion, the Wuhan Yangsi Port Yangtze River Bridge will be the world's largest double-deck suspension bridge

The construction site of the Wuhan Yangsi Port Yangtze River Bridge is 200 meters high. And this is where nearly 80 workers from the China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group work day and night. They shuttle on the "catwalks" on both sides connecting the north and south bank. Their main tasks include completing the main cable and the bridge deck, the pier body and the box girder, so that a beautiful "ladder" spreads over the Yangtze River.

The Yangsi Port Yangtze River Bridge is a double-tower, double-layer anchored steel truss girder highway suspension bridge with a main span of 1,700 meters. Upon completion, it will be the world's largest double-deck suspension bridge.
