Romanian coach helps hone skills in Henan

As soccer fans gear up for Sunday's FIFA World Cup final, a Romanian coach at a middle school in Henan province is busy boosting China's designs on global glory.

Florin Cristian Parvu is in his third stint in the central province, coaching soccer to children from Zhengzhou No 9 Middle School, with not even the region's torrential summer downpours dampening the students' enthusiasm.

"As long as the weather permits, we will have training. The children should learn to adapt to various conditions," said the 43-year-old coach.
