Kuwaiti amir's trip to Beijing to strengthen ties, ambassador says

Editor's Note: Three ambassadors from Arab states share their views and expectations for China-Arab cooperation ahead of the eighth ministerial meeting of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum to be held in Beijing on Tuesday.

The Kuwaiti amir's state visit to China, which started on Saturday, represents a new flourishing period of relations between the two countries, said Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Samih Johar Hayat.

Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's visit will cement the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, he said. "The Kuwaiti-Chinese ties are deep-rooted and strong," he said.
