Jealous husband beats wrong man

A jealous husband was detained recently for beating the wrong person in an underground parking lot in a Xi'an housing estate. Police arrived at the scene after a resident, surnamed Xu, reported being beaten by a stranger after driving into the parking lot. His car was also damaged by the man, who drove away after the nighttime attack. The attacker and his wife later returned to the scene and apologized to Xu. She explained that her husband had become jealous when she went out to dinner with a male classmate, and he had mistaken Xu for the classmate.
