University launches training program

A training program for Lancang-Mekong Cooperation national secretariats and coordination units was launched at Beijing Foreign Studies University on Wednesday. More than 30 officials from Lancang-Mekong member countries attended the opening ceremony. The 12-day training course is seen as a substantive step to implement the consensus reached at the Second LMC Leaders' Meeting and aims at serving the development of the LMC mechanism. The LMC countries are China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
