Police accuse 6 of drug trafficking

Police apprehended six suspected drug traffickers and seized 82 kilograms of drugs in Jinggu county. The police received information in May that drug dealers planned to move drugs from overseas into central Hunan province via Yunnan. Police apprehended two suspects in a hotel on May 24, and found 16 blocks of heroin and 23 bags of methamphetamine - 36 kg altogether - in a truck parked at a garage in Lancang county. In the second operation, on June 16, police found 45.8 kg of methamphetamine in a rented apartment in the same county. Four more suspects were held.
