Retail sector embraces sustainability

Survey finds majority of executives see many benefits in development model

Sustainable development can strengthen relations between customers and brands, deepen employee loyalty and create branding opportunities for retail firms, a survey report revealed.

The China Chain Store & Franchise Association, or CCFA, surveyed 46 executives from well-known brands in the retail industry and found that over 91 percent of the respondents believe sustainable development can yield multiple benefits.
