Financial app to improve know-how

Tech giant Tencent Holdings Ltd announced on June 14 it will cooperate with the China Foundation for Development of Financial Education to establish a charitable fund to improve financial education in less developed regions. According to a survey released by the People's Bank of China, Chinese consumers' lack of financial know-how leaves them exposed to financial fraud. The project will release a series of lectures and conferences on the subject.
