Regulators fight unfair competition
The State Administration for Market Regulation launched a special enforcement operation to fight unfair competition in May, which will last through October. The campaign revolves around the highly-publicized issues of counterfeiting, commercial bribery, infringements of trade secrets and misleading advertising in sectors such as online trading, rural markets, medicines and education. Industrial leaders, well-known trademarks, influential time-honored brands and tech-intensive companies are the most vulnerable groups, enforcement officials said.
