Hope basketball season opens

The 2018 Hope Primary School Basketball Season opened on May 29 at a Hunan province-based exhibition hall called 798. The annual event sponsors primary school participants from remote villages where transportation and other costs can be a huge challenge, and invites professionals to offer training and guidance. A total of eight teams that were champions in their local tournaments will participate in the final games. Li Ping, head of the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Sports, said that the project is a good way to raise public awareness of children's physical education.
