Guangzhou display company takes major innovative stride

Guangzhou OED Technologies Inc, a major electronic-paper display supplier based in Guangdong province, took a significant stride in its innovation efforts on Tuesday with the launch of its advanced color e-paper technology, a breakthrough that will help it tap new growth seams.

According to Chen Yu, general manager of Guangzhou OED Technologies, the color e-paper technology will have widespread applications in various sectors. "The technology will be used in educational material displays, electronic price tags, outdoor and indoor advertising, smart furniture and wearables," said Chen.

The color e-paper display is of high resolution and nearly zero-power consumption, marking a huge breakthrough from the traditional black and white displays, said Chen.
