Innovative aerospace industry products lifting off in capital

China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp Ltd is displaying more than 60 of its innovative products at this year's China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services, showing the advances it has made in the aerospace industry.

Its latest innovative products feature advanced concepts and cutting-edge technologies, and have been applied in six sectors - commercial space, industrial internet, equipment manufacturing, information technology, military intelligence and civil-military integration.

Compared with last year, CASIC is displaying more advanced technologies in wider fields, said an executive at the company. Many of them, related to commercial space, intelligence and equipment manufacturing, are making their debut at the 2018 CIFTIS, he added.

CASIC is also showcasing other products and applications related to food and drug safety, taxation, data security and internet of things technologies. Its intelligent solutions dealing with smart city, environmental protection, water-saving and irrigation have been attracting visitors at CIFTIS all week long.

CASIC is also making contributions to the growth of the national aerospace industry, with some of its latest products and solutions being used in major national projects.

For example, the company launched its Kaituo carrier rocket to send the Tiankun 1 satellite into orbit in March 2017 - the first satellite whose proprietary intellectual property rights belong to CASIC. The launch and others like it are helping to accelerate the construction of the Wuhan National Aerospace Industry Base, China's first commercial space industry base.

A spokesperson for the company said CASIC hopes to sign more deals and take part in more commercial cooperation as a result of CIFTIS.
