'Fun and functional' movie-inspired cat suit creates buzz at French Open

PARIS - Serena Williams admitted the eye-catching, figure-hugging black cat suit she sported in her return to the French Open on Tuesday was inspired by the smash hit Black Panther movie - but it was also intended to help women with post-natal complications.

Williams defeated Kristyna Pliskova of the Czech Republic 7-6 (7/4), 6-4 to register her first victory at a major since her triumph at the 2017 Australian Open.
