Italy's new coach content to take $13m pay cut to serve his country
FLORENCE, Italy - Roberto Mancini said on Tuesday he had no problem severing his multi-million dollar contract with Zenit Saint Petersburg to take over as coach of struggling Italy.
The Italian had two years left on his lucrative three-year deal with the Russian club, bankrolled by energy giant Gazprom, worth an estimated $15.4 million per year.
