Azzurri turn to former Man City boss to right ship

ROME - Former Inter Milan and Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has been given the job of reviving the fortunes of Italy's national team six months after its stunning failure to qualify for this summer's World Cup finals in Russia.

Italy has been without a permanent coach since Gian Piero Ventura was fired after the four-time world champion failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1958.
