Police say man leaped from bridge in likely suicide; ride service under fire

The body of a Didi Chuxing driver who was suspected of killing an airline flight attendant was recovered from a river in Zhengzhou, Henan province, on Saturday, as critics accused the ride-hailing app's "social function" of putting female passengers at risk.

Police authorities in Zhengzhou said the suspected killer - identified only as Liu - is believed to have committed suicide by jumping off a bridge.
