An inspiring place for foodies

China Daily | Updated: 2018-05-14 07:43

The Sukhothai Shanghai, which features five inspiring dining venues, is set to deliver enriching culinary experiences and become one of Shanghai's most sought-after destinations for foodies.

Alongside Michelin-starred master chef Theodor Falser, chef de cuisine Stefano Sanna takes the helm of urban Italian restaurant La Scala, serving fresh-to-order contemporary Italian cuisine with seasonal ingredients, paired with a fine selection of Italian boutique wines.

Urban Cafe, an all-day-dining restaurant within the hotel, indulges guests with authentic Southeast Asian, Western and Oriental cuisines under the leadership of executive chef Marcus Ng.

In addition, Urban Lounge offers a sophisticated collection of premium gins and an herb trolley with over 15 infused fresh herbs to be served with premium teas, all complemented by live jazz in the evenings.

The Zuk Bar is the best location to enjoy simple modern Nordic cuisine by day and artisanal cocktails by night, alfresco.

The Beans & Grapes cafe serves a healthy selection of quality light fare and beverages during the day, and Asian-inspired tapas paired with wine by the glass from sundown.
