'Now I can shout at next manager'

China Daily | Updated: 2018-05-08 07:53

Arsene Wenger suggested on Sunday that once relieved of his duties as Arsenal manager in a week's time he could think about life as a fan of the London club he served for 22 years - and have fun shouting at his successor.

Speaking after leading his team to a 5-0 thrashing of Burnley in his last Premier League home game, Wenger joked about the stresses of the job, and all the criticism from fans and the media that came with it.

"I think I played 840 Premier League games. Do you know what that means, how many sleepless nights?" he said.
