ASEAN+3 sees solid prospects

The growth of the ASEAN+3 region is expected to be sustained at 5.4 percent for 2018 and 5.2 percent for 2019, according to a report released on Thursday by the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office. The growth resilience is supported by solid domestic demand and export growth as a result of the favorable global economic outlook, said the report, which covers the economies of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, China, Japan and South Korea.
