Bavarian premium car producer BMW is proudly presenting the locally made all-new BMW X3 - aiming to impress Chinese customers with its classic sports presence and solid off-road functionality.

TThe SAV is expected to roll off the production line this summer, at BMW Brilliance Automotive's Dadong plant in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province.

As one of the three production centers worldwide for the all-new BMW X3, the Dadong plant is committed to leveraging its state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 facilities for BMW models for the Chinese market.

Many upgrades in the latest model are tailored to Chinese customers, including an extra-large panoramic sunroof, a PM2.5 air filter and extra-thick rear seat cushions.

The SAV's dynamics and the X family authenticity have been widely and highly praised by international media, in particular for its driving performance.

It is powered by the company's latest B Series 2.0T turbocharged engine with a choice of 135 kilowatt or 185 kW output.

The internationally acclaimed engine technologies include TwinScroll turbocharging and High Precision Injection, bringing rapid acceleration and linear, smooth and stable power output.

Perfectly matched is the eight-speed Steptronic gearbox, which highlights the high efficiency of the power transmission and brings the driver BMW's unique, smoother driving experience.

With the help of the new and independently developed engine computer management system, its engineers can now make adjustments according to BMW product characteristics, bringing an even greater feeling of sportiness.

Innovation in the new X3 underlines BMW's vision of future mobility moving towards autonomous driving, connected and intelligent technologies as well as light-weight construction.

On the autonomous driving side, this car is the first to introduce BMW Personal CoPilot that integrates the company's latest advanced driver assistant system technologies.

Consisting of lane keeping assistance, active cruise control, collision warning, Parking AssistantPlus and evasion assistance, BMW's advanced driver assistance system technology - or ADAS - enables drivers to enjoy driving and safety at ease in most cases just with a hand on the steering wheel.

In the frontier area of connectivity, the model integrates BMW's latest technologies and sets higher standards for its segment. Natural language understanding, touch screen and gesture control forms part of its cutting-edge human-machine interface.

Wi-Fi and the segment's only wireless connection to Apple CarPlay adds more convenience.
