Mourinho expects more time in City's shadow

LONDON - Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said his side has little chance of catching Premier League champion Manchester City next season unless the standards set by Pep Guardiola's side slip.

Second-place United trails City by 16 points with four games left after Guardiola's team kept up its chase of a series of Premier League records by thrashing Swansea 5-0 on Sunday.

Mourinho believes United let crucial points slip away in losses to West Bromwich Albion, Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United.
