Shen Difan succeeds Wang Lei as AliHealth CEO

Shen Difan (pictured), an Alibaba Group veteran, will take over as CEO of AliHealth, the group's healthcare arm, from Wang Lei. Wang will, however, continue as AliHealth's non-executive director; but he will return to the parent Alibaba Group and serve as CEO of ele.me, an app-based food delivery service recently bought out by Alibaba. Shen has over 10 years' experience in technology development, product management and business operations. Wu Yongming, senior vice-president of Alibaba, expressed confidence that Shen's leadership will drive AliHealth toward new business strategies for future growth.
