Chongqing leading race for Barca great Iniesta

Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta could be bound for the Chinese Super League, with Chongqing Dangdai Lifan reportedly favorite to sign the Spaniard if he leaves Camp Nou this summer.

Spanish sports publication Marca claimed on Thursday that Chongqing is leading the race against other Chinese bidders to land the veteran midfielder, who has not confirmed his Barca departure but only said he has made up his mind about whether he will stay or leave at the end of the season.

Chongqing president Jiang Lizhang also owns La Liga club Granada and has been involved in Iniesta's marketing campaigns in China through his company Desports.
