Ex-spy's daughter released from hospital
Yulia Skripal, who was poisoned with a nerve agent in the English city of Salisbury last month along with her Russian ex-spy father, has been discharged from hospital, the BBC and Sky news reported on Tuesday. The BBC said the 33-year-old was released on Monday and taken to a secure location, while her father Sergei Skripal remains in hospital. Britain and its allies have blamed Russia for carrying out the attack, the first offensive use of a nerve agent in Europe since World War II, sparking a major diplomatic crisis. Russia denies such claims.

More than 80 dead from tainted liquor
Authorities said on Tuesday that at least two dozen people had died in the past day from drinking toxic bootleg liquor, raising the toll to 82 this month and highlighting how attempts to curb legal alcohol have tragically backfired. National police spokesman Setyo Wasisto said the latest information showed 51 died in West Java in the past several days on top of the 31 who died in the capital, Jakarta, and satellite cities earlier in the month. On Monday, the death toll was 54, based on information from police and health officials.
