Govt hits illegal organizations

China has launched a campaign to crack down on illegal social organizations, especially those improperly taking advantage of national titles, a statement from the Ministry of Civil Affairs said on Sunday. In recent years, many illegal social organizations have used words like "China" and "international" in their names and claimed to be attached to governmental organizations, it said. Fraudulent organizations have brought financial losses to the public, it said.
